have chopsticks—will travel!
This blog started out as an attempt to chronicle my time in Mexico, and then another attempt was made at it while I worked as a nanny for two small boys. Well, guess what? I am going to try again:). This time I am equipped with not only my laptop, but a Blogger app on my touch! Please join me while I journey to South Korea for 5 weeks this summer. Here goes nothing:).

Thinking
I am in awe of the feeling I get when I am at Korean worship services. I have a hard time putting it into words I just know it is one of wonder and joy! Being with people half way around the world from my home, singing and praising the same Jesus I do, but in another language!

...2 weeks...
In 2 weeks I will be in South Korea! The idea almost makes my head spin...and to think this all started because a friend just happened to mention something in passing:)
It has been awesome to see how God has worked at stretching me over the past couple of months. There have been alot of last minute changes that until they happened had me on the edge of my seat waiting...But in it all I know it is only for my good:) This is all just the tip of the iceberg! I know God has something planned for me, and it just might happen on this trip!
Please join me on this journey! I would covet any prayers sent my way:)
Ever Being Humbled,

Yesterday
Yesterday
Yesterday was a great day. I spent it with Nathan’s parents Peter and Jamie Terrell and company. At 9am I went over to their house and ate breakfast with them. Yummy homemade pancakes (the wheat had been soaked in yogurt for a couple of days). After breakfast was cleaned up I helped peel and cut pears for pear sauce, pick pears, and sort wheat from bird seed. Meanwhile Mr. Terrell was making homemade rolls.
Then around 2ish we started making lunch. We heated up some baked chicken from a place that doesn’t use MSG, added some homemade BQ sauce to garbanzo beans and let that stew. Meanwhile be made potato pancakes with leftover mashed potatoes. I am sure you can imagine it was wonderful.
By the time we were all done with that is was time to leave and go to one of the other church leaders home for family bible time. When we got there Renee (Nathans youngest sister) was giving the children a recorder lesson.
Single parent homes are unfortunately, very common down here. Many of the families in the church are that way. Not long after we got there I found out that one of the girls that was there had been punched in the eye by her mom. Her eye was blood shot in a way I have never seen before. I looked at her and thought about how she is just one of many babies that are hurt by their families. My heart aches for her and the others like her.
Overall it was a great day. Julie’s parents are here this week so I kinda get if off (which is nice) Well that is all for know.
Blessings, Anna
